A samurai animation

Around a month ago I started a Motion Graphics course at Escape Studios in London. With one or two pieces of homework every week, the course has been like being back at school. But, unlike school, it’s actually been lots of fun so far.

This is an animation I made for the course. The assignment was to create a character and link it stylistically and conceptually to an artist – any artist. I chose Akira Kurosawa, and drew an old samurai. The whole thing is very silly, but I enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy watching it.
