Changing gears
Changing Gears is a short film showing the journey of five young Londoners as they cycle from London to Brighton. It is a look at the transformative potential of the bicycle in bringing people together and breaking down barriers.
I coordinated a team of six between film-makers, editors, sound designers and producers and was in charge of the visual direction of the film and the trailer. I created storyboards and moodboards prior to shooting and translated the interview questions into people-centred storytelling, planning cutaways alongside the talking-head sequences to visualise their words in an inspirational way. I was in charge of the whoke video-editing and motion graphics process.
The film was broadcast on London Live TV and Community Channel.
