The Open Door Project
The Jewish Cultural Centre in London invited me to document the Open Door Project : a six-month personal development programme where teenage girls from Orthodox Jewish and Muslim backgrounds came together to explore identity, difference, and friendship.
For many, it was their first time engaging in a project like this. I earned their trust by listening closely, adapting to their communication styles, and handling religious sensitivities with care and respect.
At a time of growing division, it was powerful to witness these young women connect across boundaries - and a privilege to capture their journey.
